Vero tenía un triángulo isósceles de papel. Usando una tijera, lo dividió en tres triángulos más pequeños y los pintó de azul, rojo y verde. Una vez hecho esto, observó que:
- con el triángulo azul y el triángulo rojo se puede formar un triángulo isósceles;
- con el triángulo azul y el triángulo verde se puede formar un triángulo isósceles;
- con el triángulo rojo y el triángulo verde se puede formar un triángulo isósceles.
