Sean $a,b,c,x,y,z$ números reales tales que $$a^2+x^2 = b^2+y^2 = c^2+z^2 = (a+b)^2+(x+y)^2 = (b+c)^2+(y+z)^2 = (c+a)^2+(z+x)^2.$$ Demuestre que $a^2+b^2+c^2 = x^2+y^2+z^2$.
We gave you a start so you'd know what to do
You've seen how it works, now it's over to you (...)
For there's so much more to explore! Numberblocks - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzTR72_srTU
Sea $r$ el valor común de estas expresiones.
Notemos que:
$$r = (a+b)^2 + (x+y)^2 = (a^2 + x^2) + (b^2 + y^2) + 2(ab+xy) = 2r + 2(ab+xy) \to 2(ab+xy) = -r$$
Análogamente $2(bc + yz) = 2(ca + zx) = -r$
Consideremos la expresión:
$$(a+b+c)^2 + (x+y+z)^2 = (a^2 + x^2) + (b^2 + y^2) + (c^2 + z^2) + 2(ab + xy) + 2(bc + yz) + 2(ca + zx) = 3r -3r = 0$$
Luego al ser cuadrados de reales $a + b+ c = x+y+z = 0$
Y el problema se resume en ver que:
$$a^2 + b^2 + (a+b)^2 = x^2 + y^2 + (x+y)^2 \to a^2 + b^2 + ab = x^2 + y^2 + xy$$
Tomamos las ecuaciones:
$$a^2 = r - x^2$$
$$b^2 = r - y^2$$
$$ab = -\frac{r}{2} - xy$$
Otra forma de terminar, luego de que se prueba que $a+b+c=0$ y $x+y+z=0$ notamos que $a^2-b^2=y^2-x^2$, $b^2-c^2=z^2-y^2$, $c^2-a^2=x^2-z^2$ de donde tendremos que$$\left (a^2-b^2\right )^2+\left (b^2-c^2\right )^2+\left (c^2-a^2\right )^2=\left (x^2-y^2\right )^2+\left (y^2-z^2\right )^2+\left (z^2-x^2\right )^2$$y como $a+b+c=0$ entonces $a^4+b^4+c^4=2\left (a^2b^2+b^2c^2+c^2a^2\right )$ por lo que se cumplirá que$$\left (a^2-b^2\right )^2+\left (b^2-c^2\right )^2+\left (c^2-a^2\right )^2=\frac{\left (a^2+b^2+c^2\right )^2}{2}$$y análogamente de $x+y+z=0$ se tendrá que $x^4+y^4+z^4=2\left (x^2y^2+y^2z^2+z^2x^2\right )$ y también$$\left (x^2-y^2\right )^2+\left (y^2-z^2\right )^2+\left (z^2-x^2\right )^2=\frac{\left (x^2+y^2+z^2\right )^2}{2}$$y por transitividad$$\frac{\left (a^2+b^2+c^2\right )^2}{2}=\frac{\left (x^2+y^2+z^2\right )^2}{2}$$y obtenemos lo que queríamos$$a^2+b^2+c^2=x^2+y^2+z^2.$$
